Freelance Art Director

Seeking a Freelance Art Director:

Do you paint pictures in your head when you hear a story? When you see an ad, do you think of all the ways you could have done it differently (as in, better)? If so, we are looking for you to join our creative team as an Freelance Art Director.

Required:

2-4 years of relevant Art Direction / Design / Creative work experience is a must! Along with your enviable skills, which you’ll apply to everything from logos, social and streaming content to new business pitches and innovative campaigns, you’ll need to have all these tools in your utility belt:

• A strong working knowledge of visual design, interactive design, and the creative process
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Solid concepting experience with a team and/or dedicated partner
• Strategic, outside the box thinking, that stretches beyond the computer screen
• Speed, flexibility and passion
• Articulate in selling your work to clients
• Advertising agency experience is nice to have but not required

As mentioned in the title, this is a freelance position but we're hoping to expand the role in the future. We're a fully remote team, but you’re more than welcome to do hybrid or whatever level of commute you want at our office right outside of Washington DC.
