We’re looking for a motivated and technically skilled Back-End Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs. This role is ideal for someone passionate about system architecture, performance, and reliable back-end services in a remote-first environment.

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end services, APIs, and microservices.
• Implement business logic, data processing, and system integrations.
• Work with databases to store, retrieve, and optimize application data.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and product teams.
• Ensure application security, performance, and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

• 0–3 years of experience in back-end or server-side development (internships or project experience accepted).
• Proficiency in at least one back-end language (Java, Python, Node.js, C#, or similar).
• Experience with back-end frameworks (Spring Boot, Django, Express, .NET, or similar).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and service-oriented architecture.
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Based in Australia with the legal right to work full-time.
