About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Engineer - Architecture & Delivery to join ICD Technologies' Cybersecurity Practice. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing enterprise cybersecurity strategies through hands-on technical leadership. As a senior member of the team, you will serve as the technical authority for security architecture design, product integration, and large-scale deployment projects. The position involves direct engagement with clients, guiding them through complex security implementations, and ensuring solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with industry best practices.

This role requires a deep understanding of security architecture across cloud, network, and identity domains, combined with the ability to lead and execute technical deployments. While the role is primarily technical, it also demands excellent communication skills to articulate complex concepts to senior stakeholders and facilitate seamless project delivery. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a passion for cybersecurity innovation and a commitment to excellence.

Relocation to Dubai, UAE, may be required, and candidates must be willing and eligible to move to this vibrant and dynamic city to fulfill the responsibilities of this position.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering and architecture, with a proven track record of leading enterprise-scale projects. Strong expertise in cloud security, particularly with Azure and AWS, is essential. Candidates should have hands-on experience with network security solutions, including next-generation firewalls, segmentation, and Zero Trust principles. Deep knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) is required, with experience in deploying solutions such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust, One Identity, and Entra ID.

Additional qualifications include familiarity with security standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and cloud security best practices. Excellent communication skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and client executives. Certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, CISM, CISA, and vendor-specific security certifications (EDR, SASE, DLP, SEIM, SAST, DAST, cloud security certifications) are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Security Architecture & Design: Conduct comprehensive security architecture reviews across cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), network infrastructure, identity systems, and endpoints. Design and validate Zero Trust-aligned architectures, including IAM, PAM, network segmentation, and cloud security controls. Develop reference architectures, security patterns, and hardening guidelines tailored to enterprise environments. Assess existing security postures and recommend practical, actionable improvements to enhance security resilience.

Technical Delivery & Implementation: Lead and execute hands-on deployment of enterprise security solutions, including IAM/PAM (CyberArk, BeyondTrust, One Identity, Entra ID), network security devices (NGFWs, VPNs), SIEM/SOC tools (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, Elastic), and endpoint/cloud security solutions (Defender, CSPM, CWPP). Oversee PAM implementation end-to-end, from discovery and onboarding to policy design and go-live. Troubleshoot complex technical issues across identity, network, and cloud environments, ensuring solutions are scalable, production-ready, and operationally sustainable.

Project Ownership & Technical Leadership: Act as the technical delivery owner for cybersecurity projects, managing timelines, risks, dependencies, and quality. Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure project success. Review and validate deliverables, configurations, and architectures produced by other engineers, maintaining high standards of technical excellence.

Client Engagement & Technical Advisory: Engage directly with CIOs, CISOs, and senior IT stakeholders, serving as the technical authority on cybersecurity matters. Translate security requirements into clear architecture decisions and solution designs. Support technical discovery, feasibility assessments, and solution fitment, providing expert guidance without sales bias. Present architecture designs, deployment strategies, and technical findings to clients, fostering trust and confidence in the solutions provided.
