About the Role:
Our client, a medium-sized technology-driven company based in the US, is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer for a short-term, remote engagement with flexible working hours. The role focuses on designing, provisioning, and managing scalable AWS infrastructure while supporting reliable, automated deployments in a cloud-native environment.
Responsibilities
- Provision, manage, and scale AWS infrastructure using best practices
- Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK (TypeScript or Python)
- Build and operate CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments
- Manage and scale containerized applications using Docker and ECS tasks
- Configure and maintain AWS services including ECS, Lambda, S3, Route53, ALB, IAM, VPC, Security Groups, CloudWatch, and SQS/SNS
- Monitor system health, performance, and security across environments
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in AWS DevOps or Cloud Engineering
- Direct responsibility for infrastructure provisioning and management on AWS
- Deep proficiency across core AWS services (ECS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, etc.)
- Advanced experience with AWS CDK for IaC (TypeScript or Python)
- Proven expertise in Git-based CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
- Strong experience managing Docker-based, containerized workloads
