Overview


We are seeking a dynamic Product Owner / Product Manager to join Fluck’s founding team, leading product strategy, execution, and early-stage growth initiatives for a mobile-first platform.


This role requires a rare hybrid skillset — someone who understands software development, thinks like a business analyst, acts as a product owner, and collaborates closely with growth, design, and engineering teams.


You will play a central role in shaping what we build, why we build it, and how it grows.


⚠️ This is a founding, equity-based role (unpaid initially). Salary and full-time options will be explored post-funding or revenue milestones.

Fluck is building:


A Business Portal that enables merchants to run loyalty programs, gain customer insights, and better engage with customers


A User Super App combining rewards, financial insights, and social-first experiences


Our long-term vision is to build an ecosystem spanning loyalty, financial management, data-driven advertising, and real-world social interactions, designed primarily for Gen Z and Millennials.


Core Responsibilities


  1. Own and evolve the product vision, roadmap, and backlog with a strong user and business focus
  2. Translate ideas into clear PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint goals
  3. Manage Jira boards, sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives
  4. Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure feasibility, clarity, and timely delivery
  5. Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer discovery to inform strategy
  6. Gather and prioritise customer feedback, insights, and behavioural data
  7. Define MVP scope, manage trade-offs, and continuously refine product-market fit
  8. Collaborate with growth and marketing teams to align product features with acquisition, activation, and retention goals
  9. Support and contribute to growth initiatives, including partnerships, ambassador programs, and early GTM experiments
  10. Define and track KPIs, product metrics, and dashboards, reporting progress to leadership
  11. Ensure consistent product storytelling and value proposition internally and externally


Preferred Experience & Skills


  1. Background in software development or technical roles (engineering, QA, or systems-facing roles)
  2. Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst
  3. Strong understanding of web and mobile application development


Comfortable working with:


  1. APIs and backend concepts
  2. Databases and system dependencies
  3. Engineering constraints and trade-offs


Proven skills in:


  1. Business analysis
  2. Market and competitor research
  3. Product discovery and validation
  4. Experience working with Agile / Scrum, managing sprints and delivery cycles
  5. Strong collaboration skills with design, engineering, marketing, and growth teams
  6. Product mindset with a growth, ownership, and execution-oriented attitude
  7. Understanding of Gen Z / Millennial user behaviour is a strong plus
  8. Familiarity with AI tools for research, documentation, analysis, or ideation is a bonus
  9. Knowledge of UK and EU markets preferred


Commitment & Structure


  • Fully remote, location-independent
  • Flexible working hours alongside other commitments
  • Expected commitment: minimum ~20 hours per week

  • Founding Product Lead
  • Head of Product
  • Co-founder (Product) — depending on experience and contribution
