About the Role
We are supporting a fast-scaling international organisation operating a large, on-site operational workforce within a 24/7 environment. The business is hiring a People Business Partner – Operational Workforce to support teams working across shift-based, round-the-clock operations.
This role is designed for an HRBP who has direct experience supporting operational, shift-based workforces in 24/7 environments. You will partner closely with operational leadership to ensure people practices, employee relations and workforce frameworks effectively support continuous operations.
This is a standard business-hours role, embedded in a business that operates 24/7.
Key Responsibilities
People Partnering – Operational Workforce
- Act as the dedicated People Business Partner for operational and frontline teams working within a 24/7 environment.
- Partner with Operations leaders on workforce planning, shift structures and coverage models.
- Provide hands-on HR support to managers operating in fast-paced, operational settings.
- Maintain a visible, trusted HR presence on-site.
Shift-Based Workforce & Compliance
- Support and advise on people frameworks for shift workers, unsocial hours, overtime and on-call arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with local labour law, working time regulations and internal policies.
- Partner with HR Operations on contracts, policies, payroll inputs and employee documentation.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Lead and support employee relations matters including disciplinary processes, grievances and performance management.
- Drive engagement, wellbeing and retention initiatives tailored to operational teams.
- Support effective onboarding and integration for new hires joining operational roles.
Operational HR Projects
- Contribute to People projects related to operational scaling, workforce optimisation and efficiency.
- Support change initiatives within a high-volume, operational environment.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes supporting frontline teams.
About You
- 5–8+ years HR / People experience with strong HR Business Partnering exposure.
- Proven experience supporting operational, shift-based workforces in a 24/7 environment (essential).
- Strong employee relations capability within high-volume or operational settings.
- Comfortable operating on-site and close to the business.
- Solid knowledge of labour law and compliance (UAE experience preferred or ability to learn quickly).
- Pragmatic, resilient and confident working in fast-paced environments.
