Position: Insurance Product Manager

Location: Jacksonville, FL (onsite; relocation support available)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Product Manager to lead the development and management of property & casualty insurance products. This role is strictly business-focused, involving policy forms, underwriting rules, filings, and cross-functional collaboration to drive profitable product growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and enhancement of insurance products from concept through implementation.
  • Create, revise, and maintain policy forms and underwriting/manual rules.
  • Support product launches, continuous improvement, and filing approvals.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, claims, actuarial, sales, and IT teams to resolve emerging issues.
  • Analyze product performance, KPIs, and loss results to inform decision-making.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to maintain product competitiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and internal standards.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years’ experience in property & casualty insurance, with at least 3 years in product development/management.
  • Proven experience creating or revising insurance policy forms and underwriting/manual rules.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret KPIs, pricing, and loss data.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, actuarial science, risk management, or related fields.

Preferred:

  • Homeowners insurance experience (especially Florida market).
  • Experience with independent agents or comparative rating systems.
  • CPCU or actuarial designation or in-progress.
  • Exposure to regulatory filings and product launches.
  • Intermediate SQL or experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau).
