Job Description


💰 Compensation: $60k-$75k DOE 💰

About the role:

As an SEO Manager at collystring, you will play a key role in building strong client relationships by leading client calls with confidence and clarity. You should have an ability to effectively communicate complex SEO strategies and performance metrics in a way that is easy for clients to digest. You'll serve as a trusted point of contact, providing thoughtful insights and actionable recommendations that align with their business goals. By fostering open and transparent communication, you will ensure our clients feel supported, informed, and confident in the strategies we implement. Strong presentation and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.


Most importantly: you have a “what’s next” mindset. You chase thoughts and ideas, you’re passionate about what’s around the upcoming corner and one or two miles ahead.


Our ideal candidate has:

  • Experience in both Lead Generation and eCommerce
  • 2-3 years experience in data analytics + tracking architecture
  • Understanding of GEO/LLM SEO landscape


Responsibilities:

  • Own your book of clients and identify areas for on-site improvements
  • Work alongside the SEO Director to help develop strategies and identify areas of opportunity
  • Have a robust understanding of technical SEO, site architecture, search engine crawl components, and be able to implement solutions and/or effectively communicate needs to developers
  • Identify and propose solutions for website speed and performance (web core vitals) and mobile-friendliness issues
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive SEO roadmaps that align with client business objectives, integrating technical, on-page, and off-page strategies
  • Monitor and adapt strategies based on search algorithm updates, industry trends, and evolving client needs to maintain competitive positioning Identify SEO content needs for long-form blog content and transactional pages
  • Develop content-strategies and built content briefs with search opportunity, keyword analysis, and intent
  • Perform ongoing keyword research & gap analysis to uncover new opportunities for optimization
  • Analyze competitor keyword rankings/trends with regular reporting and insight
  • Own client status calls and communication regarding SEO and effectively communicate ongoing efforts to client PoCs
  • Advocate to clients for SEO best practices across all client projects, ensuring scalability, accessibility, and compliance with search engine guidelines
  • Be forward thinking - poses the ability to analyze and illustrate data so that key stakeholders can digest trends, issues, or opportunities. EG: you're able to create a deck or doc that clearly defines the object of that deliverable and speak to it effectively
