We’re partnered with a well-funded AI search company building a next‑generation search engine designed for AI agents and power users. Their products enable users to run high‑compute research workflows (think: complex entity discovery + enrichment + monitoring) that standard search can’t do.

As the product surface expands, they’re looking for a product‑minded Full Stack Engineer who loves owning features end‑to‑end and sweating details.

• Build and ship user-facing product experiences from UI → API → database
• Create fast, intuitive workflows for complex search + research tasks
• Design and implement TypeScript APIs and internal tools that make the platform easier to extend
• Work with vector search / semantic retrieval plumbing (e.g., pgvector-style patterns) to power product features
• Partner tightly with ML + infra to expose core capabilities in a way that’s simple, reliable, and scalable
• Improve quality through pragmatic testing, monitoring, and performance work

• Strong full‑stack fundamentals; you’ve shipped production features you can point to
• Deep comfort with TypeScript
• Experience building modern web apps with React + Next.js (or comparable)
• Solid backend instincts: API design, data modeling, and making good tradeoffs
• Builder mindset: you move fast, communicate clearly, and take ownership

• Experience with Prisma-style ORMs, Postgres, and vector similarity search patterns
• Experience integrating LLM APIs into real product workflows
• Startup experience (or the temperament: high pace, low ego, high output)

• Work on AI-native search products (not a wrapper around someone else’s engine)
• High ownership + direct collaboration with technical leadership
• Problems with real depth: retrieval quality, UX for research workflows, performance at scale
