Technical Recruiter
As we expand our team, we are looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our HR department and support our recruitment efforts.
A Technical Recruiter will be responsible for assisting with the recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and managing the hiring process. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and a strong interest in talent acquisition.
The ideal candidate will have experience sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding highly qualified candidates for technical roles such as software engineers, DevOps, data scientists, QA, IT support, product, etc.
This is a full-time, fully remote position. Working hours will be in U.S. hours (Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm Eastern Standard Time).
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring managers to define technical requirements, role scope, and success criteria; draft and post compelling job descriptions for technical roles across multiple regions.
- Proactively source, engage, and build pipelines of qualified candidates for a wide range of technical positions using LinkedIn, Boolean search, and other sourcing channels.
- Review and evaluate technical resumes; conduct initial screening calls to assess skills, experience, and role fit.
- Manage and coordinate the interview process, including scheduling interviews and ensuring a smooth candidate experience.
- Track candidates accurately in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and maintain organized, up-to-date recruiting pipelines.
- Partner with hiring managers to drive timely interview feedback and move candidates efficiently through the hiring process.
- Coordinate and administer technical assessments, tracking completion and results.
- Develop talent pipelines for hard-to-fill or emerging technical skill sets.
- Collaborate with HR and recruiting stakeholders to continuously improve recruiting workflows, tools, and candidate experience.
- Support offer and pre-onboarding activities as needed, including reference checks and hiring documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (a degree in a technical field highly preferred).
- At least three (3) years of professional experience in full cycle technical recruitment.
- Experience recruiting and working with international teams is a plus but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with applicant tracking systems.
Required Technical Knowledge:
- An understanding of key technologies and tech stacks (such as Java, Python, JavaScript, AWS, Azure, SQL, Kubernetes).
- An understanding of the difference between similar tech roles (for example, front-end vs. back-end, SRE vs. DevOps).
- An understanding of basic software development concepts (SDLC, APIs, cloud, databases).
- Ability to read and interpret technical resumes.
- Ability to create screening questions based on technical job descriptions.
