Position: Quality Assurance Engineer (QA)

Job Summary


As a Junior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer at Give Interactive, you will support the testing and quality efforts of our modern fintech platform. You will work closely with QA team members, Business Analysts, and developers to help ensure our applications meet quality standards. This role is ideal for someone early in their QA career who is eager to learn testing best practices, gain hands-on experience with fintech systems, and grow their technical skills.


Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with the testing of fintech applications and systems under the guidance of senior QA team members.
  • Executing manual test cases and documenting test results.
  • Supporting the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans and test cases.
  • Assisting with automated testing efforts by writing or maintaining basic test scripts.
  • Performing functional testing and helping troubleshoot application issues using logs and other debugging tools.
  • Writing and executing basic SQL queries to validate test data.
  • Verifying test results in development and staging environments.
  • Conducting manual testing of APIs and scripts related to assigned testing scenarios.
  • Clearly documenting and communicating defects and testing results to the development team.
  • Supporting Project Management and QA team members by providing testing updates and details for development tickets.
  • Helping identify recurring issues and suggesting improvements to testing coverage and processes.
  • Learning and assisting with QA tools, including UI and automated testing tools.
  • Monitoring application logs for errors and reporting findings to the QA team.


Key Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or testing role (internships or academic projects acceptable).
  • Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with databases and a basic understanding of SQL.
  • Exposure to web technologies such as APIs, JSON, XML, and JavaScript.
  • Interest in learning automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud is a plus.
  • Ability to follow established processes and work well within a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and testing practices.
  • A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field is preferred but not required.
