Cloud and Microservices Backend Developer

You’ll be focused in

• Developing cloud and micro service business solutions on different platforms that combine user needs with business requirements and ensure technical feasibility.
• Concepting development, architectural reviews, development and operations
• Developing, deploying and maintaining automotive backend microservices based on Java, JavaScript or Python and powered by AWS
• Working in the context of automotive, you will use DevOps principles to create, test and deploy backend solutions as well as internal tools using modern cloud infrastructure like AWS
• Contributing to tech and architecture decisions
• Contributing with your team and other teams on all questions around backend and tool development.
  
  

In order to succeed, you’ll need

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or comparable work experience
• Proven experience working as a Backend Developer or related role
• Experience with backend development with Java and others such as Node.js, focusing on RESTful APIs, event driven architecture and integration (Kafka), and testing (JUnit, Mockito, ElasticMQ or similar)
• Experience with tools for logging and monitoring
• Knowledge of Cloud environments
• Knowledge of database design
• Strong Communication and analytical skills
• Great English skills, both written and spoken
  
  

Nice To Have

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform or Cloudformation or CDK
• Experience in Microservices
