Job Description
CHE Behavioral Health is seeking a Human Resources Generalist – Benefits to join our growing, clinician-led healthcare organization. CHE has delivered high-quality behavioral health services since 1995 and currently operates in 11 states, supporting psychology and psychiatry providers in both virtual and in-person care settings.
What You’ll Do
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health plans, retirement, and state-mandated leaves
- Manage benefit eligibility, enrollments, life events, and terminations
- Coordinate annual open enrollment and ensure accurate employee communications
- Track and administer paid and unpaid leaves of absence (PTO, FMLA, disability, paid family leave, military leave)
- Partner with payroll on 401(k) updates and benefit deductions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits regulations
- Support onboarding and respond to employee and applicant benefits inquiries
- Maintain accurate HRIS records and contribute to HR process improvements
- 3+ years of HR Generalist experience, with strong benefits administration exposure
- Experience using HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now preferred)
- Knowledge of wage and hour laws and benefits compliance
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
