We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about Azure services, automation, and modern cloud architectures in a remote-first environment.
🎯 Key Responsibilities- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
- Implement and maintain Azure resources such as Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, VNets
- Collaborate with software engineers and DevOps teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions
- Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code tools (ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security using Azure monitoring tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve Azure infrastructure and networking issues
- Document cloud architecture, processes, and best practices
- Stay up-to-date with Azure services and industry best practices
- 0–3 years of experience in cloud engineering, Azure operations, or related projects/internships
- Hands-on experience with Azure services (VMs, App Services, Azure SQL, Storage, VNets, IAM/Entra ID)
- Familiarity with IaC tools (ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform)
- Basic understanding of networking, security, and system administration in Azure environments
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) is a plus
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
- Fluent in English
- Based in Australia with full legal right to work full-time
