The Role

We’re looking for our first Talent Acquisition Lead to build the foundation for how we hire as we scale.

This extremely role with a blank canvas to designing and embedding a rigorous, scalable, and high-quality global hiring framework. Think the structure and standards of a world-class tech company, paired with the agility of a fast-moving startup!

You’ll be at home both setting up systems, playbooks, and metrics as you are running searches yourself. If you love the blend of strategic build and hands-on delivery, this is your kind of role.

What You’ll Do

Build a Best-in-Class Talent Framework

  • Design and implement a global recruitment framework with clear stages, success metrics, and feedback loops.
  • Choose, set up and embed an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) ensuring clean data, smooth workflows, and a great candidate experience.
  • Create a global hiring playbook that defines hiring standards, interview processes, and decision-making frameworks.
  • Partner with the People Lead, Head of People - India and the leadership team to define workforce plans, hiring priorities, and success measures.
  • Ensure consistency, fairness, and rigour in every hiring process from first touchpoint to offer.

Deliver Hands-On, High-Quality Hiring

  • Own and lead end-to-end recruitment for key roles across Europe and other distributed territories.
  • Partner with hiring managers to scope roles, write clear and compelling job descriptions, and define success profiles.
  • Source, engage and work with agencies, and close exceptional candidates directly, bringing creativity and precision to every search.
  • Coach and support hiring managers to conduct effective, inclusive interviews.
  • Drive candidate experience excellence, every interaction should reflect our values and professionalism.

Strengthen Global Hiring Capability

  • Build hiring dashboards and metrics to track pipeline health, conversion, and time-to-hire.
  • Introduce structured interview training and calibration processes for hiring teams.
  • Optimise employer branding and candidate outreach to attract top talent in a competitive market.
  • Collaborate with the People Lead to align TA processes with onboarding, workforce planning, and talent development.
  • Lay the groundwork for scaling a small but mighty global TA function.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in Talent Acquisition within high-growth tech or SaaS environments (ideally 80–300 people).
  • Experience building recruitment frameworks and processes across multiple regions (Europe essential; global preferred) including with new AI technologies.
  • Hands-on hiring experience, comfortable managing end-to-end searches across multiple functions.
  • Familiarity with embedding and optimising an ATS such as Greenhouse or TeamTailor.
  • High bar for quality, bringing the structure and consistency of an enterprise-level TA function .
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, able to build trust and flex your style across audiences.
  • A data-driven approach - you use insights to guide conversations and improve outcomes.
  • Pragmatic, solutions-focused, and comfortable balancing pace with precision.

This is a fully remote role, with occasion travel to meet the wider team in person.

Stage 1 - Screening call with a member of the People & Talent Team

Stage 2 - Technical / Capability task with Fractional People Director and People Lead

Stage 3 - Cultural interview with a member of the senior team
