Finfluencer is transforming how finance brands and organisations understand, reach, and engage modern audiences. We bridge the gap between influencers and their communities, championing financial literacy through meaningful, human-led partnerships.
You’ll be joining a fast-growing influencer marketing business, working directly with the founders and a senior team with over 15 years’ combined specialist experience. We value autonomy, trust, and creativity, and we give our people the space to do their best work.
While this role is remote-first, it includes regular in-person collaboration and attendance at UK and International events.
We’re looking for an experienced Events & Marketing Manager to take ownership of:
- Our growing programme of proprietary events, including the Finfluencer Awards and a series of invite-only industry events across the UK and Europe, with scope to expand into additional territories.
- Our agency marketing activity, to grow our brand and recognition within the industry.
On the events side, you’ll plan and deliver approximately 4 medium-scale events per year (75–125 attendees) alongside smaller curated gatherings (20–30 attendees). You’ll work closely with internal teams, sponsor clients, venues, and a network of freelancers to ensure every event runs seamlessly and delivers real value to attendees and partners.
Alongside this, you’ll lead our B2B marketing strategy, overseeing a rolling calendar of content and campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels. From strategy through to execution and reporting, you’ll have end-to-end ownership and significant influence over how Finfluencer shows up in the market.
This is a hands-on, high-trust role with genuine scope to grow as the business grows.
- Plan, design, and deliver Finfluencer events from concept to completion.
- Attend and manage all events in person, acting as the senior on-site lead.
- Develop event strategies, timelines, and annual calendars aligned with business and client objectives.
- Manage event budgets, tracking spend and ensuring cost-effective delivery without compromising quality.
- Source, negotiate, and manage venues, suppliers, contractors, and freelancers.
- Coordinate logistics including venue setup, catering, AV, travel, accommodation, and staffing.
- Lead and brief event staff, volunteers, and temporary teams.
- Manage sponsor relationships and support negotiation of high-value sponsorship and event contracts.
- Oversee the Finfluencer Awards, including strategy, timelines, judging coordination, and delivery.
- Track event performance using KPIs, attendee feedback, and post-event evaluations.
- Continuously improve event processes, attendee experience, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and deliver the agency’s B2B marketing strategy in collaboration with the founders.
- Own and evolve Finfluencer’s brand identity, tone of voice, and positioning.
- Build and manage a rolling content and campaign calendar across all channels.
- Create and brief high-quality content (copy, visuals, social, paid).
- Manage organic and paid channels including website, social, email, PPC, and awards activity.
- Monitor competitors and industry trends to inform strategy and optimisation.
- Measure performance, report insights, and refine campaigns accordingly.
- Support PR opportunities and broader communications initiatives.
- Minimum 3 years’ professional experience in events, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience delivering in-person events (including logistics and on-site management).
- Demonstrated B2B marketing experience.
- Strong understanding of paid social and PPC.
- Solid knowledge of organic marketing, including website management, GA/analytics, and SEO.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Comfortable working independently with full ownership of projects.
We’re a human-first business. The right person will be:
- Organised & timely – calm, structured, and dependable.
- Proactive – anticipates problems and acts early.
- A strong problem-solver – solutions-focused under pressure.
- Accountable – takes ownership and follows through.
- Proud of their work – cares deeply about quality and experience.
- High autonomy in a role with real scope to grow alongside the business.
- Remote-first working, with flexibility to collaborate in person when useful.
- Contributions towards creating a comfortable home-working setup.
- Training and professional development contribution.
- Work-from-anywhere benefit.
- 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays.
- Family-friendly policies.
- Inclusive, supportive environment for all backgrounds and abilities.
