Job Description


This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a CloudOps Engineer in the United States.

This role offers the chance to lead cloud operations and application migration initiatives in a dynamic, fully remote environment. You will design, implement, and maintain AWS environments, ensuring scalable, resilient, and secure architectures for mission-critical applications. Working across development, DevOps, and product teams, you will leverage Infrastructure as Code, automation, and observability tools to improve deployment consistency, operational efficiency, and system reliability. The position provides exposure to complex cloud workloads, end-to-end infrastructure management, and opportunities to shape best practices in cloud operations. It is ideal for someone with a proactive mindset, strong technical expertise, and a passion for building robust, automated, and high-performing cloud systems.

Accountabilities

  • Lead the setup, configuration, and management of AWS environments for application migrations and ongoing operations
  • Deploy and manage AWS services including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, ALB/NLB, Route 53, SNS/SQS
  • Conduct cloud readiness assessments, dependency mapping, and architecture alignment for application migration
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and automate deployments with Ansible
  • Enhance observability and monitoring with Dynatrace, including dashboards, alerts, distributed tracing, and performance analysis
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues, participate in incident response, and implement reliability engineering practices
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with development, cloud, security, and product teams to ensure stable, efficient, and secure cloud operations

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of experience in Cloud Operations, SRE, DevOps, or Application Operations roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS production workloads, including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, and IAM
  • Proficiency with Terraform for module development, state management, and automation
  • Solid experience with Ansible for configuration management and environment provisioning
  • Experience with Dynatrace Full-Stack Observability, including OneAgent deployment, dashboards, alerts, distributed tracing, RUM, and synthetic monitoring
  • Strong Windows administration, shell scripting, and infrastructure troubleshooting skills
  • Analytical problem-solving skills, cross-functional collaboration, and excellent communication abilities
  • Ownership mindset with a focus on automation, reliability, and observability improvements
