Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a fully remote AWS Cloud Engineer to support a healthcare companies Cloud COE. This engineer will be designing and implementing AWS-based infrastructure for enterprise healthcare applications. They will be collaborating with software engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to align cloud solutions with business objectives. This engineer should be able to develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using Terraform or CloudFormation and build and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and testing.

This person will be responsible for implementing security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance controls and monitor cloud environments using AWS tools (CloudWatch, CloudTrail) and optimizing for performance and cost efficiency.

Skills And Requirements

5+ years within an AWS Cloud Engineering role

Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, Lambda, IAM).

Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash).

Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Enterprise level experience

Domain Knowledge: Understanding of healthcare compliance and cloud security frameworks. Certifications:

AWS Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps Engineer preferred.
