Social Media & Paid Ads Manager (Part-Time, Remote)
Global Social Media Marketing (GSMM) is hiring a Social Media & Paid Ads Manager to lead organic content and paid media execution for client accounts while supporting GSMM’s own brand presence. This is a hands-on, strategic role ideal for an experienced social media marketer who enjoys owning execution, testing ideas, and driving measurable growth. You thrive on being creative and are on top of the latest social media trends to connect audiences with great content.
- 12 hours/week (minimum); Opportunity to scale up to 19 hours/week
- $35/hour: Fully remote, flexible schedule

You’ll manage end-to-end social execution for no more than 3 accounts, owning content creation, publishing, paid ads, reporting, and client communication. You’ll also help grow GSMM’s own social channels, positioning us as a modern, AI-driven marketing agency through thought leadership, case studies, and educational content. This role reports directly to the CEO and collaborates closely with digital marketing managers and creative partners.
- Own organic social media management across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and X
- Build and manage monthly content calendars (static, carousels, short-form video, polls, memes, educational posts)
- Write high-quality captions, hooks, CTAs, and hashtag strategies
- Schedule and automate posting using modern social tools
- Stay ahead of platform trends, formats, and best-performing creator strategies
- Run paid media for clients on LinkedIn Ads, Google/YouTube Ads, and Meta/Instagram Ads
- Optimize ads for leads, sales, fans, and ROI
- Understand conversion tracking, UTMs, and performance diagnostics
- Use insights to inform organic + paid creative testing
- Deliver monthly performance reports using Platform-native analytics, GA4, and Google Slides / Looker Studio
- Translate data into clear insights and next-step recommendations
- Execute weekly client updates and email with the CEO to build trusted relationships
- Manage content revisions and approvals efficiently
- Collaborate with GSMM leadership on strategy and priorities
- Participate in a weekly 1:1 Google Meet with the CEO
- Support GSMM’s social presence with Educational content, AI-driven marketing insights, and Thought leadership
- Explore opportunities for Sponsorships, Guest Blogging, Intern Recruiting, Influencer partnerships, content monetization, or create short-form videos or blog content tied to social education

Required
- United States-based and fluent in English
- 5+ years of experience in social media marketing (agency or consulting background strongly preferred)
- Deep organic experience with LinkedIn, Instagram, and Meta.
- Paid ads experience in LinkedIn and Google Ads.
- Proven ability to manage both organic content and paid social
- Strong writing, creative judgment, and performance mindset
- Comfortable working independently and owning deliverables
- Experience using AI tools in your daily workflow
- Client email and creative project management iteration communications

- Experience managing multiple clients
- Facebook/Meta Ads experience
- Experience creating educational or B2B content
- Prior agency leadership or mentoring experience
