Job Title:  SVP, Marketing Project Management

Department: Marketing

Reports To: Head of Marketing

Location: 100% Remote

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay: $125,000 - $150,000


Overview

Simplify Asset Management is a fast-growing manager of 38 exchange traded funds with over $12 billion in assets under management offering innovative, derivatives-based solutions across traditional and alternative asset classes. This role is for an experienced marketing leader who will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing marketing initiatives across the firm. This role serves as the operational hub of the marketing team, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with financial industry regulations. The portfolio of projects will include, but are not limited to, the company website, social media, sales decks, search engine marketing, event planning, email marketing, and our YouTube channel. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, values precision, and understands how to scale marketing in a regulated investment firm.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end execution of marketing projects, including advertising campaigns, content development, website updates, events, client communications, and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and marketing calendars aligned with firm priorities.
  • Manage a team of two marketing professionals.
  • Ensure all marketing materials comply with SEC and FINRA guidelines. Serve as marketing point-person for regulatory body inquiries to compile requested materials.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders on assigned projects and track project progress, manage risks, and proactively resolve issues or delays.
  • Continually work to improve project management processes, workflows, and documentation.



Qualifications

  • 8+ years of financial services industry experience in marketing or marketing compliance
  • Experience with investment products (e.g. ETFs, mutual funds, private funds)
  • Familiarity with FINRA/SEC advertising and communications rules
  • Strong understanding of marketing workflows and compliance review processes
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Experience working with a creative agency or an in-house creative team is a plus



Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional attention to detail and documentation
  • Solid understanding of financial markets
  • Ability to translate high-level marketing strategy into executable plans
  • Strong CRM coordination/marketing automation acumen (Hubspot a plus)
  • Negotiation skills and the confidence required to advocate for a position
  • Creative ability with a good eye for effective design
