We have an urgent role of Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst.


We need someone with Threat intel experience as well as risk quantification. Need FAIR certification. This person will be writing security bulletin’s and building out their threat intelligence team. This person needs to have very strong communication.


100% remote. Need from the public sector.


The Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and disseminating actionable intelligence on emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and tactics. This role supports proactive strategies, incident response, and risk mitigation across the organization. Provides thought leadership to Information Security Leadership and Cyber Operations.



Job Duties and Responsibilities


Management of the Threat Intelligence Service as part of the Threat Management Program


Maintenance of the Cyber Common Intelligence Picture (CyCIP), to include identification of relevant technical indicators and evaluation of data source quality


Maintain and utilize the available threat intelligence tools


Data mining for a combination of open source, ISAC-provided, threat feeds, threat websites, industry reports, actionable, and non-public information to support analysis efforts for indicators of compromise (IOCs) and emerging threats


Predictive cyber threat analysis, identifying pending cyber attacks, or intrusion operations


Assessment of cyber risk scenarios associated with internal, physical, or environmental changes


Ability to gather relevant threat information, translate into intelligence, and disseminate to appropriate teams and leadership


Development of risk reduction strategy related to identified cyber threat actors/groups


Development and dissemination, spoken or written, of briefing material for various audiences in a timely manner


Effectively communicate Threat Intelligence efforts and analysis, employing a variety of awareness media to keep IT and Business Partners informed of risks posed by cyber threat actors/groups, requirements (countermeasures), trends and issues


Collaborate with Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, and appropriate teams to provide actionable insights
