Job Description


Salt Search are currently partnering with a leading global leading software company, they are seeking critical support in immigration for their talent management strategy by providing end to end program design and solutions for efficient, cost effective and compliant mobility offerings. The group's purpose is to navigate the complexities and potential barriers of global talent movement, and function as a strategic partner to the Australia and global team. Our client is seeking a passionate individual who understands the intricacies of assignment and tax management, relocation, and immigration. This individual will utilize a deep set of skills to impact hiring and retention of key talent in all regions.

What you'll do

  • Serve as the single point of contact for global HR business partners in APAC region with talent partners and hiring managers for domestic and international relocations and assignments.
  • Advise HR business partners, talent partners and hiring managers on the immigration needs of prospective candidates and current employees, to ensure Global Mobility functions as a key component of the global talent acquisition and retention strategy.
  • Work with global mobility program owners in immigration, tax, and relocation to coordinate the delivery of mobility services.
  • Draft relocation agreements and international assignment letters of understanding that adhere to Global Mobility policies and administer the various complexities of international assignments including year-end compensation accumulation, delivery of allowances and proper payroll tracking and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all members of the team, customers, clients and all service partners though timely, accurate and professional communication.

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Human Resources.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a global mobility role
  • Must possess a strong understanding of the complexities of global mobility that touches APAC/India/Japan
  • Solid understanding of international HR, international compensation and benefits etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management, planning and organizational skills.
  • High level of professionalism, personal integrity and dependability.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Knowledge of expatriate payroll, tax and benefit management preferred.
  • Ideal candidate will be able to identify, prioritize, and manage through to completion multiple deliverables simultaneously and with minimal guidance.
  • Candidate will demonstrate ability to learn quickly and deal successfully with ambiguity.

Offering $180 - $200K + super
