Senior AI Engineer

Job Summary:

The AI Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced NLP and LLM solutions that power intelligent applications and business automation. This role requires expertise in machine learning, natural language processing, and large-scale model training, along with the ability to translate research into practical solutions. Working closely with data scientists, engineers, and business teams, the AI Engineer will deliver scalable AI systems that enhance customer experiences and drive innovation. The ideal candidate is research-driven, technically strong, and passionate about applying AI to solve complex real-world challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Model Development:

• Design, develop, and enhance NLP and LLM models for applications including customer support, conversational AI, and automation tools.
• Conduct research and experiments to advance methodologies in NLP, generative AI, and large-scale model training.
• Implement fine-tuning and optimization techniques to adapt pre-trained models for business-specific use cases.

Data Management:

• Collect, preprocess, and curate large, high-quality datasets for training and evaluation.
• Apply data augmentation and enrichment strategies to improve model performance and robustness.

Deployment & Integration:

• Deploy and maintain NLP and LLM models in production environments with a focus on reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Build APIs and services to integrate NLP and LLM capabilities into enterprise systems and applications.

Collaboration & Leadership:

• Partner with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into AI-driven solutions.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.

Monitoring & Optimization:

• Implement monitoring, logging, and evaluation frameworks to track model accuracy, fairness, and performance.
• Continuously refine and retrain models based on new data and feedback.

Continuous Innovation:

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in NLP, LLMs, and AI research.
• Contribute to improving team workflows, tools, and methodologies.

Job Requirements:

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing and deploying NLP and LLM solutions.
• Proven experience with modern large language models (e.g., GPT, BERT, LLaMA, Mistral) and deep learning frameworks (e. g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).

Technical Skills:

• Strong programming skills in Python, with proficiency in NLP libraries such as Hugging Face Transformers, spaCy, and NLTK.
• Solid expertise in machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and statistical modeling.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with multilingual NLP and cross-lingual transfer learning.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices for continuous model deployment and monitoring.
• Knowledge of distributed computing and big data frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark).
