  • Ensure redundancy, high availability, and failover capabilities are designed and validated.
  • Plan and implement VLANs, routing, switching, and QoS for handling video data securely and efficiently.
  • Solution Integration & Technical Oversight:
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to integrate the video analytics platform with the unified command-and-control platform.
  • Participate in solution architecture reviews and provide insights on network optimization for AI-based video feeds.
  • Evaluate bandwidth requirements, latency constraints, and server placement across edge and core networks.
  • Security & Compliance:
  • Ensure cybersecurity best practices are followed across all network layers.
  • Implement segmented and secured zones for video surveillance traffic.
  • Maintain compliance with aviation and airport IT standards and local regulatory guidelines.
  • Operations, Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
  • Set up monitoring tools and dashboards for real-time network performance and incident management.
  • Handle escalations related to network faults, outages, and latency issues.
  • Provide documentation, including runbooks, escalation matrices, and network change logs.

Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent in Routing & Switching/Security/Data Centre are highly desirable.

Experience:

  • At least 3-5 years proven experience of managing critical infrastructure networks (preferably in airports, defense, oil & gas, or other high-security environments).
  • Proven experience in deploying or supporting video analytics, VMS, or AI-based video systems.
  • Strong experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, HPE Aruba, or similar enterprise-grade networking platforms.

Skills:

  • Deep understanding of Layer 2/3 protocols, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, STP, QoS.
  • Knowledge of PoE switches, multicast, streaming traffic behaviour, and network segmentation.
  • Familiar with NAC, NMS, IDS/IPS, and Firewall integration.
  • Experience with network high availability (HA) clusters, redundancy, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Understanding of cloud-hybrid integrations and edge computing considerations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
  • Excellent documentation and reporting capabilities.
