Program Overview
The FLRAA (Future Long Range Assault Aircraft) program is a major U.S. Army modernization initiative aimed at replacing part of the current helicopter fleet with the advanced MV‑75. This next‑generation aircraft will deliver twice the speed and twice the range of today’s platforms, enabling superior tactical maneuverability for missions such as air assault, MEDEVAC, and resupply.
The program leverages digital engineering, rapid prototyping, and continuous user‑driven design feedback to accelerate development and fielding.

As a Software Engineer on the FLRAA program, you will:
- Support ongoing software development, integration, and test activities
- Develop software designs, artifacts, and source code
- Create and execute software test procedures; document results
- Perform software integration both on‑site and at partner locations
- Participate in engineering technical reviews and design discussions
- Document engineering artifacts in accordance with SDRL requirements
- U.S. Citizenship (required for program access)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years of applicable domain experience
- 5+ years with C/C++, Python, and Microsoft Developer Studio
- 5+ years with software verification methods and practices
- 3+ years working with Real‑Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:
- Avionic Human‑Machine Interface (HMI) design
- Glass cockpit development
- Tactical communications and data links
- Military aircraft navigation systems
- Embedded mission computing systems
- Time‑Sensitive Networking (TSN) / Digital Backbone architectures
- Military aircraft sensor systems
- Aircraft survivability systems

Compensation for the Software Engineer Include:
Salary Range: $130,000-150,000 depending on experience
Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Sick Leave as required by law
