Job Description
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will work closely with engineering and design teams within the Data, Automation, and Integration department to validate requirements, identify issues early, and optimse data management application performance throughout the development lifecycle. You'll ensure the quality of delivered technical solutions by designing, executing, and documenting test cases. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in both manual and automated testing.
Your role
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans, cases and scripts, both manual and automated.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing across systems and platforms.
- Identify, log, and track defects
- Work collaboratively with development teams, actively engage in code reviews and validate PRs to identify issues and resolve them early.
- Support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes with automated testing.
- Participate in requirement and design review meetings, providing insight from a QA perspective.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance best practices and documentation standards.
- Prepare and present test reports, quality metrics and insights to project stakeholders.
- Experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test automation
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools, testing frameworks and CI/CD systems (e.g. Playwright)
- Experience working with repository / versioning tools (e.g. Git, BitBucket).
- Strong understanding of Agile testing methodologies.
- Experience with test planning, test data preparation, test design, test cases/scripts, and testability assessments.
- Ability to collaborate with developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements.
