Job Description

About BenefitFlow

BenefitFlow is the go-to-market platform for the $1T+ employee benefits ecosystem. Our AI-powered platform helps carriers, vendors, and brokers identify high-fit prospects, uncover insights beyond the Form 5500, and build revenue-generating relationships with the right decision-makers.

We’re trusted by some of the fastest-growing and most innovative benefits companies to drive pipeline, accelerate deals, and scale their GTM motion. If you thrive at the intersection of strategy and executionβ€”and believe marketing should be a revenue engine, not a cost center - you’ll love it here.

The Role

We’re seeking a Director of Marketing to lead our full-funnel growth engine, integrating brand, demand, and revenue marketing into a cohesive strategy that fuels BenefitFlow’s next stage of growth and scale.

You’re an operator and strategist in equal measure: someone who can architect a marketing roadmap, lead high-impact campaigns, and build the foundation for a repeatable, data-driven growth system.

As a leader, you’re someone who is:

  • Experienced enough to own end-to-end campaign strategy.
  • Hungry enough to roll up your sleeves and execute, test, iterate, and optimize.
  • Fluent in the employee benefits ecosystem: brokers, vendors, carriers, and the nuances of how they go to market.
  • Naturally inclined to treat AI as a 10x productivity multiplier.
  • Thrives in a fast-moving, high-ownership startup environment.

You’ll Be Responsible For:

  1. Driving Pipeline & Content Strategy – Build and scale a content-led campaign engine that turns insight into impactful narratives, engages target audiences across channels, and converts interest into qualified pipeline.
  2. Owning Channel & Campaign Strategy – Oversee paid, organic, and partner channels (LinkedIn, Google Ads, SEO, webinars, ABM, and co-marketing). Constantly test, learn, and optimize for ROI.
  3. Building Scalable Infrastructure – Lead marketing operations: own attribution models, UTM governance, lead routing, HubSpot workflows, and performance dashboards. It’s your job to measure what matters.
  4. Elevating the Brand – Strengthen BenefitFlow’s position as the category leader through compelling storytelling, content, and thought leadership campaigns that resonate across brokers, vendors, and carriers.
  5. Enabling Revenue Teams – Partner with Sales, CS, and Partnerships to develop content, campaigns, and enablement materials that drive conversion and retention.

What You’ll Work On

You will:

  • Lead and scale the marketing function from strategy to execution, aligning campaigns, content, and analytics to measurable business goals, while keeping the team informed through reporting & regular stakeholder meetings.
  • Build and operationalize a content marketing engine that includes clear editorial standards, SEO optimization, and a repeatable production workflow.
  • Oversee the strategy and creation of thought leadership and demand generation content, such as webinars, guides, and white-papers, aimed at influencing key segments and decision-makers.
  • Collaborate on product launches and announcements, ensuring consistent messaging across owned, earned, and paid channels.
  • Build a data infrastructure that clearly connects marketing activity to ARR growth.
  • Operationalize a modern content engineβ€”defining our voice, cadence, and cross-channel consistency.
  • Manage attribution accountability and ROI across paid, SEO, creative, and PR.
  • Collaborate directly with leadership on positioning, pricing narratives, and market expansion strategies.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • 7–10 years of marketing experience in SaaS or data-driven B2B environments, with 3–5 years in the employee benefits space preferred.
  • Proven track record of leading integrated campaigns that drive measurable pipeline and revenue.
  • Deep understanding of performance marketing, demand generation, content marketing, and marketing operations.
  • Skilled in CRM and automation tools (HubSpot preferred), attribution modeling, and ROI reporting.
  • Strategic communicator who can translate complex ideas into compelling stories.
  • Builder mindsetβ€”skilled in scaling processes within early-stage, high-growth, ambiguous environments.
  • Passion for leveraging AI to enhance marketing strategy and productivity.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • High Impact: You’ll own initiatives that directly influence revenue growth, product adoption, and market leadership.
  • Autonomy + Speed: We make decisions quickly and give leaders real ownership.
  • AI-Forward Culture: We use AI to multiply creativity, speed, and precision across every function.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside founders, engineering, sales, and CS to shape the company’s growth story.
  • Career Growth: As we scale, your role and influence will scale with us.

BenefitFlow Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation: Attractive salary and meaningful equity package.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Healthcare, 401(k) match, fully remote, unlimited PTO.
