Job Description
AgReserves, Inc. is seeking a resourceful and results-oriented Human Resources Manager to support assigned operations within the Permanent Plantings Division. The HR Manager works cross-functionally in the development and administration of HR policies and services to meet operations needs while also championing HR functional initiatives and direction.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Human Resources programs and services for operations, including talent acquisition, positive employee relations, learning and development, rewards and recognition consistent with company practices.
- Partner with HR Shared Services in delivering services as it relates to Human Resources issues and challenges.
- Build strong relationships with operational and functional leaders to effectively identify needs and develop approaches to improve the overall performance of the operations.
- Drive opportunities for process improvement in HR processes, policies, and practices and support companywide HR initiatives.
- Stay on top of legislative changes, employment law issues, regulatory standards, and industry changes in practices to establish systems that ensure compliance with changes in the organization.
- Drive data driven HR decisions by collecting, organizing, analyzing and reporting on HR data/metrics.
- Make recommendations to the HR leadership team for corrective action and continuous improvement in recruiting, retaining, developing and rewarding employees.
- Participate in HR leadership meetings and teams in developing policies, evaluations and employee training and leadership development programs.
- Deliver a consistent and seamless HR approach across the division and company.
- Lead and contribute to special projects with HR peers as well as with functional and operations leaders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field. Advanced degree a plus.
- 3+ years recent experience as a successful generalist with demonstrable broad knowledge in employment, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, performance evaluations, succession planning and employee development.
- Agribusiness familiarity preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership, and business partnership skills.
- Advanced computer skills with experience using Human Resource Management Systems (HRIS, ATS, etc.)
- Valid in-state driver’s license with ability to travel domestically up to 10%.
- Bilingual Spanish language ability a plus.
