We’re partnering with a well-funded, high-growth Web3 infrastructure company building the next generation of decentralized data and real-time information services for global markets. The team is made up of elite engineers, researchers, and industry operators from top-tier academic and technology backgrounds, with experience across finance, deep tech, and blockchain.
This is a protocol-first organisation solving one of the hardest problems in decentralized systems: how to deliver fast, secure, trustless data at scale. With a remote-first team across 30+ countries, they are building core infrastructure across Layer 1, Layer 2, DeFi, and distributed consensus.

About The Role
You’ll operate at the core protocol layer, designing and scaling foundational blockchain infrastructure used by developers, institutions, and decentralized applications.
In this role, you will:
- Design, build, and maintain blockchain infrastructure using Rust and/or Move.
- Implement and optimize Layer 1 and Layer 2 protocols to improve scalability, throughput, and reliability.
- Architect decentralized, trustless systems with a focus on performance, security, and immutability.
- Diagnose and resolve bottlenecks across execution, networking, and storage.
- Perform rigorous code reviews and uphold long-term maintainability standards.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate security vulnerabilities at the protocol and systems level.
- Stay on the cutting edge of blockchain research and contribute to continuous platform evolution.
You Might Thrive In This Role If You:
- Have 3+ years of deep Rust experience, including systems programming and performance-critical code.
- Possess strong foundations in distributed systems, networking, consensus, parallel execution, and storage architectures.
- Have built scalable, decentralized systems in production environments.
- Are comfortable with low-level optimisation (memory, CPU, concurrency, execution models).
- Apply best practices in blockchain security and protocol design.
- Work autonomously in high-ownership, fast-moving teams.
- Communicate clearly and effectively in English (written and spoken).
