UX - Product Designer (Contract) — AI & Analytics Solutions
Location: Portugal (Remote)
Contract Type: Freelance / Contractor — MUST operate as Director of your own limited company

About the Role
We’re seeking a Product Designer with a passion for shaping data-driven digital experiences. You’ll play a key role in defining and delivering intuitive, elegant, and high-performing products that leverage AI and analytics to drive measurable impact.
As part of a cross-functional innovation team, you’ll collaborate with product strategists, engineers, and data scientists to design solutions that balance user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end user experiences for AI-powered and analytics-driven digital products.
- Translate complex data and machine learning outputs into meaningful, usable, and visually compelling interfaces.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements, user journeys, and interaction flows.
- Work closely with developers and product teams to ensure design intent is maintained through delivery.
- Conduct design reviews, usability testing, and iterative improvements based on data and feedback.
Requirements
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Product Designer, ideally within AI, analytics, or SaaS platforms.
- Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design for data-heavy products.
- Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Familiarity with data visualization, dashboard design, and information hierarchy.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working in cross-functional, distributed teams.
- Must be based in Portugal and act as Director of your own limited company for contractual purposes.
