Job Description
Senior Data Analytics Engineer- Dubai- Relocation Provided!
I’m working with one of the largest iGaming platforms in MENA, scaling their data function in Dubai and hiring a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to help build the next generation of analytics and reporting.
You’ll sit within the core BI & Analytics team, owning models, metrics, and pipelines, and reporting directly to the Head of BI.
🔍 Responsibilities:
- Own and develop SQL / dbt models, pipelines, and core business metrics.
- Maintain and evolve the analytics warehouse and semantic layer.
- Partner with Product, Finance, Risk, and Marketing teams on insights and experimentation.
- Optimise data structures for performance, reliability, and scale.
- Drive best practices across modelling, documentation, testing, and CI/CD.
✅ Requirements:
- Strong SQL and dbt experience (essential).
- Hands-on experience with GCP (BigQuery in particular) is required.
- Background in Analytics Engineering / BI / Warehouse Modelling.
- Experience with Airflow, Dagster, or similar orchestration tools.
- Strong understanding of data modelling and metric layer design.
- Experience in high-volume transactional environments (iGaming, Payments, FinTech) is a plus.
📍 Additional Information:
- Location: Dubai, this role will require relocation. My client adopt a remote first policy, however you can go into their Dubai based office as much as you like!
- Salary: 35,000 AED – 40,000 AED/month + a 10-30% performance related bonus.
- Relocation: Fully supported.
