We’re looking for a proactive and technically strong DevOps Engineer to build, maintain, and optimize our infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and cloud environments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys automation, reliability, and close collaboration with development teams in a remote-first environment.
🎯 Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability
- Collaborate with developers to improve deployment workflows and system scalability
- Implement security, backup, and disaster recovery best practices
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues
- 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with scripting or automation (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Understanding of Linux systems and networking basics
- Experience with Git and modern development workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
- Fluent in English
- Based in Australia with the legal right to work full-time
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
- Exposure to SRE practices and reliability engineering
- Relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
