🤖 We’re Hiring: Automation Test Engineer

📍 Location: Remote (Australia)

🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time

💼 Level: Junior / Mid-Level

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks that ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. This role is ideal for someone passionate about quality engineering and test automation in a remote-first environment.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and/or mobile applications
  • Build and enhance test automation frameworks and tools
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test strategies
  • Execute automated and manual tests as needed
  • Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Analyze test results and provide clear quality reports
✅ Requirements
  • 1–3 years of experience in QA, test automation, or software testing roles
  • Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g. Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#)
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium
  • Understanding of software testing principles and SDLC
  • Experience testing REST APIs and web applications
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
  • Fluent in English
  • Based in Australia with the legal right to work full-time
🌟 Nice to Have
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
  • Experience with performance or security testing
  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • ISTQB or similar certification
