Job Description
Education Design International (EDI) is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join our global team working on education-focused projects across multiple countries. This position is ideal for a design-driven architect who is comfortable moving from concept through design development and collaborating closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
You will play a key role in shaping both new construction and renovation projects for schools and other education-related projects. Depending on the project, you may act as Project Designer, Project Manager, or senior team contributor, with growing responsibility for coordination, design leadership, and client engagement.
This is a fully remote role that requires strong self-management and clear communication. Team coordination and meetings typically take place with U.S.-based colleagues between 8:00–10:00 a.m. CST.
What you’ll bring
- 5–10 years of professional architectural experience
- Strong design thinking and the ability to translate ideas into buildable solutions
- Experience developing and coordinating design development drawings
- Solid understanding of building systems, materials, and constructability
- Confidence presenting design ideas and working directly with clients
- A collaborative mindset and comfort working across disciplines
Technical skills
- Proficiency in Revit and SketchUp
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Openness to learning AI-enabled design and visualization tools
- Experience coordinating consultant drawings and documentation
