About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Developer based in Pakistan to join our remote engineering team. This role is ideal for professionals with 8+ years of hands-on mobile development experience who are comfortable working independently, making architectural decisions, and collaborating with US-based stakeholders during US EST hours.
You will play a key role in building, scaling, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications used by global customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance mobile applications
- Lead mobile architecture decisions and enforce best practices
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers in the US
- Review code, mentor junior developers, and ensure code quality
- Optimize app performance, stability, and scalability
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and technical discussions during US EST hours
- Troubleshoot complex issues across multiple devices and OS versions
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional mobile development experience
- Strong expertise in one or more of the following:
- iOS: Swift, Objective-C
- Android: Kotlin, Java
- Cross-platform: Flutter, React Native
- Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture)
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs
- Strong knowledge of mobile security, performance tuning, and app lifecycle management
- Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work full-time aligned with US EST time zone
Nice to Have
- Experience building apps for US or global markets
- Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Firebase, Azure)
- Experience with mobile analytics, crash reporting, and monitoring tools
- Prior experience mentoring or leading mobile teams
- Published apps on App Store / Google Play
