Overview
We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer based in Egypt to remotely join our US based healthcare technology team. You will be responsible for developing and executing exploratory and automated tests to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards.
This is a remote role requiring a dedicated professional who can work comfortably during US Central Standard Time (CST) business hours to collaborate directly with our US-based engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Test Development: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using open-source tools to ensure platform stability.
- Collaboration: Partner with US-based developers and product managers to identify system requirements and provide feedback on technical design.
- Healthcare Quality: Develop and apply testing processes for healthcare products, ensuring data integrity and system reliability.
- Bug Lifecycle: Identify, document, and track bugs thoroughly; perform regression testing once issues are resolved.
- Planning: Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Continuous Growth: Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and strategies; participate in training regarding healthcare regulations and compliance.
Requirements
- Residency: Must be a current resident of Egypt and able to commit to a permanent CST working schedule.
- Experience: 5+ years of proven work experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Strong experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting (Python, JavaScript, or similar).
- Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured, or similar).
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Language: Professional working proficiency in English (written and verbal). You must be able to clearly document bugs and participate in technical meetings.
- Healthcare (A Plus): Prior experience in the healthcare industry or familiarity with HIPAA compliance is a plus. If you don't have this experience, we will provide the necessary training.
- Education: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
