We’re looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions that ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. This role is ideal for someone passionate about software quality and working in a remote-first environment.
🎯 Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
- Execute automated and manual tests for web, mobile, and API applications.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results and provide quality metrics and reports.
- Improve testing processes, tools, and best practices.
- Support performance, regression, and integration testing.
- Maintain test documentation and test data.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in software testing or QA automation roles.
- Strong experience with automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Experience testing web services and APIs (Postman, REST).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and best practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Fluent in English.
