Senior WordPress Developer

🚀 Root Codex is looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to join our fully remote team. You’ll work with skilled engineers and UX designers on high-impact projects for well-known brands across multiple industries.

If you care about clean architecture, modern WordPress, and real collaboration, this role is for you.

🛠 What You’ll Work On

• Custom WordPress themes & plugins
• Gutenberg block development (built from scratch)
• React-powered interactive components
• Performance-focused, scalable solutions
• Close collaboration with designers & developers

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Strong Gutenberg experience (custom blocks from scratch)
• React experience for block development
• 5+ years of professional WordPress development
• 5+ years with PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
• Solid understanding of WordPress best practices & coding standards
• Strong OOP & design patterns knowledge
• Experience with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, or similar)
• Experience with Sass / SCSS
• Good understanding of REST APIs & JSON
• Comfortable with Git and collaborative workflows
• Basic Linux shell knowledge
• Fluent English (written & spoken)
• Strong problem-solving mindset, ownership, and team spirit

⭐ Nice to Have

• CI/CD experience (GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)
• Docker experience
