Mid-Senior Network Engineer

We’re looking for a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize secure and reliable network infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone with strong networking expertise who can support distributed systems and remote operations in a remote-first environment.

• Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi).
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Troubleshoot network issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Support cloud and hybrid network environments.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and engineering teams.
• Implement network security best practices and compliance standards.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and procedures.
• Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery planning.

• Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in network engineering or network administration roles.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and network protocols.
• Experience with networking hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.).
• Familiarity with firewalls and network security principles.
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Fluent in English.
• Based in Australia with the legal right to work full-time.
