We’re looking for a detail-oriented and security-focused Cybersecurity Analyst to monitor, analyze, and protect our systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. This role is ideal for someone passionate about security operations, risk management, and working in a remote-first environment.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor security systems, logs, and alerts to detect and respond to threats.
  • Investigate security incidents and support incident response activities.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing efforts.
  • Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Support security monitoring tools such as SIEM and endpoint protection systems.
  • Collaborate with IT, network, and engineering teams on security initiatives.
  • Assist with security audits, compliance, and risk assessments.
  • Stay up to date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
  • Document incidents, controls, and remediation actions.
✅ Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or IT security roles.
  • Knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security.
  • Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar, etc.).
  • Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and security frameworks.
  • Understanding of common attack vectors and threat mitigation techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Based in Australia with the legal right to work full-time.
  • Security certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CEH) are a plus.
