About the Opportunity:
The organization is a fully remote team focused on accelerating the global adoption of crypto and blockchain technology. The role supports the trading backend services, including the matching engine, market data gateways, APIs, and related trading infrastructure. The team works with various tech stacks, primarily using Rust, and is distributed globally.
Responsibilities:
• Create comprehensive test plans before feature development, defining manual and automated testing strategies.
• Perform manual testing during development cycles to validate new features before automation.
• Balance manual exploratory testing with automation to identify edge cases.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to define QA processes for a trading platform.
• Lead automation initiatives end-to-end, including strategy, implementation, CI/CD integration, and scaling coverage.
• Drive performance, security, and accessibility testing to ensure a high-quality experience for traders.
• Document, report, and triage bugs to improve release quality and velocity.
Requirements:
• Strong programming skills in Python, Rust, or another automation-oriented language.
• Foundational trading knowledge, including order types, trade execution, margin trading, and general financial markets.
• Ability to design comprehensive test plans before implementation, distinguishing between manual and automated testing.
• Experience creating and maintaining test automation frameworks for complex applications.
• Manual testing skills and creative thinking to uncover edge cases and bugs.
• Understanding of QA principles, such as exploratory testing, regression testing, and bug tracking.
• Familiarity with CI/CD integration and automation at scale.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to building high-quality software.
