The Digital Technologies group is focused on innovating the real estate leasing and living experience, building software and technology to streamline the apartment shopping journey and personalize the experience.
As a Senior Web Experience Designer, the role centers on improving the company website to engage prospective residents and guide them through the leasing process. The designer will create compelling user experiences, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and contribute to other platforms such as the resident app.
Responsibilities:
• Lead website design to enhance the apartment shopping experience.
• Manage design processes from research and strategy through development support.
• Understand business metrics to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with product management, data science, marketing, and sales teams.
• Work with engineering to ensure feasibility and design fidelity.
• Maintain and develop the existing design system.
• Stay updated on web, mobile, and AI technologies.
Requirements:
• 5+ years experience as a UX designer.
• Proven experience designing digital/web products from concept to launch.
• Portfolio demonstrating design skills, experience, and process.
• Expert proficiency with Figma, including design libraries, prototyping, and development design.
• Experience launching MVPs quickly and iterating based on user data.
• Knowledge of data-driven design and A/B testing.
• Experience working in cross-functional, remote teams across multiple time zones.
• Organized and process-oriented with stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with product/project management software (Linear preferred).
• Knowledge of current software development and web technologies, including AI.
• Experience with design systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in modern software development environments.
• Growth mindset with adaptability to new technologies and approaches.
• Comfort with ambiguity and startup-style product development.
• Strong design opinions and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal guidance.

Compensation:
• Salary range: $150,000 to $175,000 annually.
• Additional compensation may include quarterly or annual bonuses based on individual and company performance.
