We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure and reliable network infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting skills and experience supporting modern, distributed environments in a remote-first setting.
🎯 Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues across LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud networks.
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Support cloud and hybrid network environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Implement network security best practices and access controls.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT, security, and engineering teams on infrastructure projects.
- Participate in on-call or incident response rotations when required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and routing protocols.
- Hands-on experience with networking hardware and firewalls.
- Experience with cloud networking concepts and tools.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Fluent in English.
- Based in Australia with the legal right to work full-time.
- Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, AWS/Azure Networking) are a plus.
