Your Mission
As a Power Platform Engineer / BI Consultant with a strong focus on Power BI, you will play a key role in helping our international clients transform data into actionable insights. You will design, build, and operate scalable BI solutions that enable management and business teams to make confident, data-driven decisions.
You will work closely with data engineers, cloud architects, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end analytics solutions on Microsoft Azure.
What you really do:
- Design, develop, and operate Power BI dashboards and reports in complex, enterprise data environments
- Build efficient, scalable data models and advanced DAX logic, with a strong focus on performance and usability
- Integrate diverse data sources using Power Query, Dataflows, APIs, and Azure-based services
- Automate reporting and workflows using Power Automate
- Translate business requirements into intuitive, high-quality BI solutions for management and business units
- Implement and support governance, security, and permission concepts within the Microsoft Power Platform
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineers and Cloud Architects on end-to-end analytics architectures
- Work with Azure services such as Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, Databricks (nice to have)
- Support the integration of BI solutions with modern data warehouse and lakehouse architectures
- Ensure reliable, maintainable, and scalable BI solutions across the full data lifecycle
What you bring:
- Several years of hands-on experience with Power BI and the Microsoft Power Platform
- Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with DAX, performance tuning, and best practices in enterprise BI
- Familiarity with Azure-based data platforms (Synapse, Data Lake, Databricks is a plus)
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
- Comfortable with direct client communication in English (German is a plus)
- Interest in knowledge sharing, mentoring, and contributing to the growth of a strong team
