Job Description

Director of Recruiting - Professional Services

The Director of Recruiting is accountable for the overall success, growth, and operational excellence of Growth Suite’s placement division. This leader sets the recruiting strategy, develops a high-performing team, ensures exceptional delivery quality, and strengthens client partnerships to drive sustained revenue and repeat business.

This role is ideal for a seasoned agency recruiting leader with deep experience managing teams, owning client relationships end-to-end, and driving process discipline in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.

About our firm:

Growth Suite Consulting is a recruiting and talent-optimization consultancy partnering with leaders, teams, and organizations nationwide to elevate performance, streamline recruiting systems, and build cultures of ownership and excellence. Our work is rooted in professional excellence and a team first mindset. We prioritize relationships, disciplined execution, and delivering measurable results.

We operate with a high-accountability, high-support philosophy rooted in our five core values: Ownership, Growth, Communication, Resilience, and Relationships. These values guide how we show up, how we solve problems, and how we serve our clients — always with quality, professionalism, and strategic partnership.

We are a fully remote, high-performance team distributed across the U.S., united by a culture of accountability, trust, and strong relationships — no matter where we work.

Essential duties:

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a values-aligned placement recruiting team.
  • Set clear expectations, productivity targets, and quality standards; conduct regular performance reviews and coaching.
  • Foster a relational, high-trust, high-accountability culture grounded in Growth Suite’s core values.
  • Ensure team capacity, resourcing, and workflow coverage to support consistent delivery.

Client Relationship Ownership

  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for key accounts, ensuring alignment, trust, and proactive communication.
  • Lead client onboarding, search strategy definition, and ongoing review cycles.
  • Anticipate client needs; address issues early, and ensure a consistently exceptional client experience.
  • Partner with leadership on account expansion opportunities.

Recruiting Delivery Excellence

  • Drive high quality pipelines, disciplined search execution, and consistent delivery across all active searches.
  • Oversee submittal quality, candidate experience, and speed to fill metrics.
  • Personally execute priority or complex searches when needed to ensure success.
  • Maintain excellence in sourcing strategy, screening rigor, and client-ready presentation quality.

Systems & Operational Excellence

  • Strengthen sourcing tools, messaging, and outreach effectiveness to increase quality and efficiency.
  • Improve and maintain scalable recruiting processes, documentation, and delivery efficiencies.
  • Ensure full compliance and disciplined use of ATS, trackers, and weekly operating rhythm.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement operational improvements to support scale.

Qualifications:

  • 5–10+ years in agency recruiting (public accounting, finance, audit, or professional services); leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Proven success leading, developing, and holding teams accountable
  • Track record of high-volume, high-quality recruiting outcomes
  • Strong client management and relationship-building ability
  • Excellent communication, prioritization, and judgment-based decision-making
  • Self-starter, proactive problem-solver, and highly organized
  • Networked in professional services talent pools (preferred)
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders with strong emotional intelligence and professionalism
  • Comfort operating in a metrics-driven, high-visibility environment

Growth Path:

This role is a critical leadership position with significant influence over division growth, revenue, delivery quality, and long-term scalability. Future opportunities include expanded leadership responsibility, team growth, and the potential for elevated strategic roles within Growth Suite.

Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $80,000–$90,000
  • On-Target Earnings: $115,000–$150,000+
  • Bonus Opportunities:
  • Quarterly leadership performance bonus based on placement revenue above quarterly targets
  • Recruiting Placement Bonuses
  • Client Origination
  • Additional Benefits
  • Remote work environment
  • Unlimited PTO after 90 days
  • High-trust, high-performance culture with strong development support

Competencies:

  • Leadership & Team Accountability - Develops a high-performing team; sets clear expectations; coaches both skill and mindset; applies coaching, clarity and accountability consistently and fairly, addresses performance gaps swiftly and professionally.
  • Client Relationship Excellence - Builds deep trust with clients; communicates confidently and proactively; protects the brand through consistency, professionalism, and delivery quality.
  • Business Acumen & Operational Discipline - Understands revenue drivers and prioritizes work that creates results; enforces workflows, quality standards, and pipeline momentum. Makes data-informed decisions and drives efficiency improvements that increase margins.
  • Values-Driven Resilience - Models Ownership, Growth, Communication, Resilience, and Relationships — especially under pressure — and fosters the same strengths in others.
