Position Overview:
Our client in the cannabis industry is seeking a fully remote Designer with strong promotional design experience to join their creative team on a freelance basis, 40 hours per week for the month of January with potential to extend. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and has a passion for creating visually compelling digital assets that drive engagement and showcase product highlights. You must be able to work a CST or EST schedule to be considered for this role. This role may require OT some weeks.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the creative team to produce promotional assets, including:
- Email designs that highlight product launches, campaigns, and offers.
- In-store digital screens (static images) that align with brand aesthetics and promotional goals.
- Ensure consistency across digital touchpoints while maintaining a fresh and engaging visual style.
- Create high-impact visuals that resonate with cannabis consumers, on average, designing 2-4 emails and/or promos per day
- Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines with efficiency and creativity.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience designing promotional emails and digital assets.
- Familiarity or background in the cannabis industry or similar lifestyle/retail sectors.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop.
- Ability to work within brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries.
- Experience with GIF animation or motion graphics is a strong plus.
- You must have your own laptop to be considered.
