About The Role

We’re looking for a Shopify Liquid Engineer with strong frontend craftsmanship and deep expertise in Shopify’s ecosystem. Someone who knows how to build, customize, optimize, and maintain high-performance storefronts — and who enjoys transforming design, UX, and business requirements into clean, scalable Shopify solutions.

You’ll work closely with design, marketing, and product teams to deliver fast, robust, conversion-driven online stores for our brands and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, customize, and maintain Shopify storefronts with high performance and reliability.
• Develop custom Shopify themes and enhance existing templates following brand guidelines.
• Implement and debug third-party Shopify apps, or build custom solutions when required.
• Work with Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to deliver elegant, scalable front-end features.
• Integrate external APIs, marketing tools, and Shopify Apps to optimize shop functionality.
• Ensure seamless use of Shopify’s AJAX API, meta fields, and Storefront API.
• Develop fully responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
• Continuously test and debug using browser tools to ensure stability and performance.
• Collaborate with UX/UI Teams to build strong, engaging user experiences.
• Provide ongoing technical support, maintenance, and improvements across multiple stores.
• Contribute proactively with ideas to improve speed, conversion, and technical quality.
  
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing on Shopify.
• Strong command of Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, DOM manipulation.
• Experience creating or customizing Shopify themes and working with the Storefront API.
• Skilled with Vanilla JS, jQuery, ES2015/ES6, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience integrating and debugging third-party Shopify Apps.
• Understanding of Shopify objects, metafields, JSON templates, and AJAX API.
• Solid experience building fully responsive layouts.
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance using browser console and dev tools.
• Experience working in multi-client environments (agencies or similar).
• Strong communication skills and ability to give/receive constructive feedback.
• Knowledge of TypeScript.

• Degree or vocational training in Computer Science, Web Development, or related technical fields.
• Experience in e-commerce development environments.
