AllStaff Inc. is NOW HIRING for a CAD Designer in London, Ontario to support our innovative outdoor product manufacturing client with active product development!
Start ASAP!
Shift: Day shift (Mon–Fri, 8 AM–4 PM including standard breaks)
Location: London, Ontario (fully on-site role) + relocation packages can be negotiated for the right fit
Salary Range: $100,000–$150,000/year + bonus (based on experience) + generous lifestyle spending account + profit sharing
Responsibilities Include
- Create detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings using SolidWorks
- Work closely with product development on new product designs
- Produce tooling, parts, and assembly/instruction sheet drawings
- Maintain product documentation, specifications, and standards
- Support product launches and ongoing design improvements
Required Qualifications
- Must have College diploma in Industrial Design, Drafting Technology, or related field
- 2–3 years in a CAD/Design role (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 3 years of SolidWorks or similar software experience
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Must be creative and possess an "out of the box thinking"
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must have own transportation and be reliable for on-site attendance
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
The Ideal Candidate Would Have
- Experience designing outdoor consumer products
- A flair for modernizing and uplevelling projects
- Familiarity with tooling or manufacturing processes
- Previous work experience within a growth-stage manufacturing company
- Previous experience in marketing roles
