Quality Control Manager (QCM)
One of the nation's leading General Contractors is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to support high-profile federal construction projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on quality professional who understands federal standards and thrives in fast-paced, federal project environments.

What You'll Be Doing
- Serve as the on-site Quality Control Manager for federal construction projects
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance with federal requirements
- Ensure all work meets contract documents, plans, specifications, and applicable codes
- Coordinate and lead preparatory meetings, initial inspections, and follow-up inspections
- Manage inspections, testing, and documentation in accordance with project requirements
- Interface with government representatives, inspectors, and project stakeholders
- Track deficiencies, oversee corrective actions, and ensure closeout of punch items
- Collaborate closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and subcontractors to drive quality proactively
- Proven experience as a Quality Control Manager on federal construction projects
- Experience on projects for USACE, NAVFAC, DoD, VA, or GSA strongly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and federal contract requirements
- Strong documentation, communication, and leadership skills
- Travel or relocation to project sites is required
