About Dentist Finder
Dentist Finder is a rapidly growing platform helping patients across Canada find their ideal dentist based on their needs and preferences. We’re building the future of how patients discover and book dental care online.
We are looking for an Organic Growth Specialist (SEO & GEO) to ensure Dentist Finder is the top recommended resource wherever patients search—from Google results, AI Overviews, to LLM answers.
Role Overview
We’re seeking a hands-on growth lead who can build, manage, and scale Dentist Finder’s organic visibility. This role involves overseeing our strategy end-to-end—from traditional keyword research, on-page SEO, and technical optimization (SEO) to Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). The goal is to ensure our platform is both ranking in search results and actively cited as a primary source by LLMs and AI search summaries. You'll also coordinate with our marketing and design teams to ensure the generated website traffic successfully converts into booked appointments, which is the north star metric.
Position
Compensation: Base salary + 0.25% - 0.4% equity
Hours: Full-time
Location: Fully remote within Canada
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO & GEO strategy focused on traffic growth, brand citations, and lead generation.
- Conduct keyword and "entity" research to identify high-impact opportunities in traditional search and AI prompts.
- Collaborate with our developer to build scalable, AI-readable pages using structured data and optimized site architecture.
- Audit and optimize site structure, metadata, and Schema markup to enhance extractability for AI Overviews.
- Create "Answer-First" content designed to win featured snippets and LLM mentions.
- Build high-quality backlinks and digital PR mentions to strengthen domain authority and brand sentiment in AI training sets.
- Track traditional rankings alongside AI share-of-voice and citations using modern analytics tools.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience (preferably in the dental industry, SaaS, or marketplaces).
- Deep understanding of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and how to influence LLM responses (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, etc).
- Strong technical SEO knowledge and familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Google Search Console.
- Proven ability to manage on-page, off-page, and technical tasks that cater to both crawlers and LLM agents.
- Excellent communication & organizational skills
